Obiective:

Cercetarea metodelor de generare de bază pentru caracterizarea familiilor de limbaje şi a metodelor generale de derivare în sisteme formale. Lemele de iteraţie pentru limbaje algebrice raţionale şi 'liniare' definite prin operatori generali. Studiul limbajelor algebrice rationale cu 'catenaţie distribuită', relaţia acestora cu familiile de limbaje clasice (în special ierarhia Chomsky), proprietăţi de închidere şi probleme de decizie. Un automat pushdown cu ''catenaţie distribuită' la pushdown este echivalent cu a maşină Turing.
