Abstract: Specifically designed for the solving of parallel computing problems, the data flow architecture is characterized by an asynchronous management of a set of simple operations. These operations, carried out by elementary processors, are synchronized by incidental data flow. The paper presents a model of such an architecture based on data flow Petri nets.
