Designing a Simulation Language on the Basis of Composite Petri Nets.

Boucher, D.; Bouvet, C.

In: Chou, J.Q.B.: Proc. of the 1987 Summer Computer Simulation Conf., San Diego (USA), pages 701-706. 1987.

Abstract: The paper surveys various types of nets derived from the basic model of Petri nets. It suggests how, by combining appropriate elements of some of those types, a formal concept can be obtained which is strong enough to lend itself the conception of a discrete event simulation language like GPSS, SIMSCRIPT or SIMULA.
