Abstract: In constructing modules for parallel execution, an important thing to be considered is what execution scheme will be taken for parallelism. In this paper, the authors develop some parallel execution schemes in the Petri net model of a task and present a module construction algorithm for each scheme. The maximum firing rule is used for large amount of parallelism. This is useful in the early stage of software development for a multiprocessor.

Keywords: parallel execution scheme; maximum firing rule; multiprocessor development.
