Abstract: An important goal is to include temporal characteristics into the synthesis of systems control. However, the controlled process undergoes failures and must be recovered. The paper proposes a two-step approach which takes into account the temporal characteristics of systems. Timed Petri nets are used to represent discrete event dynamic systems with recovery from failures.
