Abstract: Discrete event activities in batch processes can be represented as a set of modular sub-Petri-nets. In the framework of decentralization and coordination control, we discussed the coordinate control of discrete operations with sequence, synchronization and resource sharing in batch processes. The synthesis scheme for the coordinate controller was proposed. As an illustration, a simple example of batch processes was presented.
