Abstract: Reorganizing of production in accordance with the Kanban principles requires considerate assistance in the process of decision-making. The authors show how to model, analyse and simulate a Kanban oriented production by using Petri-nets supported by the PSItool NET. A building block developed for a standard production is described. The possibilities are shown to adopt this building block to specific conditions using parameters and to link it with net parts, which represent non-standard-problems.
