High-Level Petri Nets.

Jensen, K.; Rozenberg, G.

Berlin, Germany: Springer-Verlag, 702 pp. pages, 1991.

Abstract: Today a considerable body of knowledge exists about high-level nets. Unfortunately the papers on these topics have been scattered throughout the literature, and much of this knowledge has not been readily available. This book is intended to improve the situation. It contains reprints of many of the most important recent papers on the application and theory of high-level Petri nets. The papers have been selected to represent the current state of the art including the most modern results. The book is divided into nine sections, each with an introduction outlining the main concepts and giving bibliographic notes on the development of high-level nets.

Keywords: high-level net theory, overview (and) reprint(s).
