Artificial Intelligence Robots Using Petri Nets in Fuzzy Times.

Mieno, H.; Kamijo, M.

In: Robot, No. 78, pages 80-86. January 1991. In Japanese.

Abstract: Robots are applied in unstable environments such as prevention of disasters. If the robots are subjected to an unexpected change of environment, they use a high level of judgement such as man's subjective judgement. In the paper, the authors propose an algorithm to help self-running robots identify a path. The algorithm is constructed by modal logic, in particular the authors constructed Petri nets, which allow economy in processing time and memory.
