Abstract: The implementation of a Petri net editor and simulation package in the context of computer aided systems theory is discussed. The Petri net system has a friendly graphic user interface allowing to edit the structure and layout of nets and to evaluate and undo sequences of steps. The use of the object oriented language LOOP is explained.
