Abstract: A multi agent net has been proposed as a formal description model for autonomous distributed systems(ADS's). In the model, a system is expressed by a set of agent nets, and each agent is an extended colored Petri net. We are developing a software environment for the model. Currently, we have developed a net editor and a generator. The net editor is a graphical tool to draw agent nets, and its output file is written by Agent Net Description Language(ANDL). The generator translates an ANDL file into a Java file. After we compile the Java file, we can obtain an executable program to simulate an agent. This paper shows the software environment.
