Abstract: An AOTAM (Approximate Optimum Task Assignment Mechanism) which shows an efficient task assignment mechanism on the basis of heuristic methods is presented. The AOTAM consists of an initial suboptimum assignment algorithm and an approximate optimum assignment algorithm. The AOTAM was modeled and analyzed by Petri nets.
