Abstract: The authors describe an approach to the computer-aided design of simulation models of the operation of an electric open cast transport system employing expanded Petri networks. The transport system is described by attributed temporal networks, with dynamically controlled priorities at transitions. The networks, designed by the proposed method, are safe and ensure that only one train is present on any part of the route.
