Abstract: The network model is conceived to discretly simulate the analogue functioning of the neurons. The neuronal network is modelled by a Petri type net where the places represent the neurons, the transitions represent the synapses, and the marking is interpreted as potential of the neuron's membrane. The impulses are transmitted according to the flow relation of the net. For the purpose of simulations, a set of FORTRAN programs called NETCON was created.
