In: Chinese Journal of Electronics, Vol. 9, No. 4, pages 437-441. 2000.

Abstract: WebMUX is designed as a core transporting protocol built on top of existing Internet transport protocols in the HTTP-NG protocol suite, which aims to enhance the performance of HTTP and overcome some intrinsic limitations. After describing the mechanisms of the WebMUX protocol, the paper provides a colored Petri net (CPN) model to show how this transport protocol works. The construction of the CPN model and its analysis are given in detail in this paper.
