INC

The user interface of INC is written in Tcl/Tk, which must, therefore, be installed on your system. The current version of INC will be published within the next few weeks.

INC (incremental conceptualiser) is the model of the conceptualizer that we are developing in the ConcEv project. INC is implemented in Mozart/Oz, which exists for Unix (in most variants), MacOS X and Windows. Mozart/Oz must be install in order to execute INC. To use the full functionality of INC further software is required:

  • The user interface of INC (the INC-simulator) is written in is in Tcl/Tk. (INC has to be called directly by Mozart/Oz routines otherwise.)
  • INC can produce output in the graph-drawing tool DaVinci. (This considerably facilitates the evaluation of simulation results.) Two versions can be used: version 2.1 (freely available) and version 3 (free for scientific purposes).
  • For controlling DaVinci an additional Mozart/Oz package is needed (written by Joachim Niehren), wich can be obtained from the MOGUL archive. The link to DaVinci exists only for Unix operating systems up to now.

Installation instructions

  1. Install what is required from the above software.
  2. Download INC version 0.2.1. (zip-archive)
  3. Unpack the archive.
  4. The user interface (the INC-simulator) is started with the command "simulator.exe" in the directory "inC".
