Bei der Verwendung deiktisch / indexikalischer Ausdrücke wie "hier" und "jetzt", z.B. in den häufig in der Öffentlichkeit mitgehörten Eröffnungen "Ich bin jetzt hier ..." von Handy-Telefonaten, ist die Bestimmung des zeitlichen und räumlichen Kontextes der Gesprächssituation grundlegend für das Gelingen der Kommunikation. Über die Kommunikation zwischen Menschen hinaus ist die Fähigkeit auf räumlich-zeitlich Naheliegendes zu reagieren, bzw. Kommunizieren und Handeln in räumliche und zeitliche Kontexte einordnen zu können, ein wichtiger Bestandteil intelligenter Informationssysteme.In diesem Seminar werden aktuelle Arbeiten zur Einbeziehung von situativen Kontexten (insbesondere räumlichem und zeitlichem Kontext) in die Wissens- und Sprachverarbeitung vorgestellt. Neben Ansätzen aus dem Bereich der Repräsentation räumlichen und zeitlichen Wissens und der Agenten-Theorie werden philosophische und linguistische Ansätze sowie psycho- und computerlinguistische Konzeptionen diskutiert.
