Subject: (PN) Information from the Steering Committee

Dear members of the Petri Net community,

Please notice that the Petri Net Web-pages now have a special page 
with "Information from the Steering Committee":

	http://www.informatik.uni-hamburg.de/TGI/PetriNets/sc-info/

The page can also be accessed via a link in the lower right part of 
the Petri net front page.

The new page contains mails from the Steering Committee (like this 
mail) and it also contains Steering Committee documents which may be 
of the general interest for the Petri net community.

In particular it contains an updated version of the "Guidelines for 
Programme and Organising Committees" and an "Invitation to future 
conference organising".

The purpose of the first document is to provide a number of 
guidelines to assist the programme committees and the organising 
committees in their preparation of the Petri Net conferences. The 
guidelines express the experience and tradition developed during the 
previous conferences. Comments and suggestions for improving the 
guidelines are very welcome. Please send them to me.

The purpose of the second document is to invite PN groups to apply 
for being chosen as organisers for some of the upcoming Petri net 
conferences. The deadline for the next round of applications is April 1, 2006.
