Important decisions from the Steering Committee meeting in Braga, June 2010
. Please help to advertise the Advanced Course on Petri Nets in Rostock,
September 2010 to your colleagues and students. It is a very good
opportunity for our community to reach out to new researchers and to
new PhD students. For more information see: www.petrinet-summerschool.org
. Maciej Koutny has been appointed as new SC chair - starting from July 2011.
. The 2011 conference will be organised in Kanazawa Japan and the 2012
conference in Tunis City, Tunis. A Call for Conference Organisers in
2013-2015 will be made in the fall of 2010.
. To save resources it was decided that all future PC meetings will be
electronical (instead of physical).
. The invitation of some of the conference papers for a special issue
in Fundamenta Informaticae will be done immediately after the PC meeting
in February (instead of July/August).
. The invitation of some of the workshop papers for a special volume in
ToPNoC will be done immediately after the conference in June (instead
of September/October).
. The Introductory Tutorial has been replaced by a 3-day Petri Net Course
where it is possible to earn ECTS credit points. Please consider sending
your PhD students to the course. For more information see:

The guidelines for the Petri Net conferences has been updated to reflect the
