You all know Maddy Prior of course, as Steeleye Span's lead vocalist.

On this album she is teamed up with June Tabor, one of the leading ladies of pure English folk, on the club and college circuit. All the typical topics of folk are evident here; the humour of My Husband's Got No Courage in Him, the plight of lost love in Lass of Loch Royal, sea, adventure and travel in The Grey Funnel Line. Ethnic and charming, it is refreshing to find room for this type of music today.

Maddy Prior and June Tabor will be appearing for three nights at the London Saddlers Well Theatre on April 11, 12, 13. During late April and May Steeleye Span will play a series of concerts and TV shows in Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, Germany and France.
