Abstract: The paper presents exact results for the average customer waiting and sojourn times in systems comprising a number of finite-capacity queues cyclically attended by several servers. The system behaviour is described using generalized stochastic Petri nets (GSPN), and performance indices are obtained numerically by means of GreatSPN, the softwaretool for the analysis of GSPN.
