Abstract: To support the development of software to simulate distributed computer systems, a concept to integrate the Simula-based simulation system ATLANTIS and the Petri-net-based analysis system MARS is discussed. Based upon an illustration of the concepts of both systems, rules for transforming an ATLANTIS model into a net model are derived.
