Abstract: In the first part of the paper the theoretical basis of the Petri net and the authors' proporsals for a modification were surveyed. In this part the aim is to describe the construction of the software package. The main task of the program package is to simplify the planning of systems by means of Petri nets and the control of the design as well. The planning and controlling of the design to be performed by this software package is investigated through an example taken from the area of chemical technologies.
