Abstract: In the paper, a combining of GSPNs and PERT networks is used in order to reduce the computational complexity of performance evaluation of concurrent processes modeled by GSPNs --- The authors propose the follwing methodology. Firstly, for PERT networks, it should be formulated an algorithm with good accuracy and computational complexity criteria. Secondly, for safe GSPNs with acyclic behaviour, a modification of the algorithm should be created. Thirdly it should be constructed another algorithm for safe GSPNs with cyclic behaviour.
