Abstract: Stochastic Petri Net is applied to model a shift processing system with repair and of distributed processing configuration, in which the states of the modeled system can be defined with ease. Moreover, the behavior of the system can be identified more accurately by executing the behavioral analysis of the system with distinction between regeneration point and non-regeneration point in the context of a Markov Renewal Process when making the state definition for the modeled system. The limiting probability of the mean first passage time to the initial state in the system is obtained with the behavioral analysis of the system. Finally, the behavior of the system from the normal state to the next normal state is shown by introducing the Gamma distribution and the exponential distribution as concrete firing time distributions of each transition in the numerical example.
