Abstract: In Part II of this two-part paper, we apply the results established in Part I in the stability and boundedness analysis of an important class of discrete event systems which can be modeled by Petri nets. Specific examples of such systems which we will consider include a network of computers and a production network.

Keywords: Petri nets, boundedness property, control theory, dynamical systems, stability-preserving mappings.
