Abstract: The RTI Architecture Design Assessment System (ADAS) is presented. The tool set consists of an editor, a discrete event simulator, a Petri net analyzer, and a software-to-hardware mapping tool. ADAS models the software and/or hardware processes by a directed graph methodology based on a modified computational graph, which is a subclass of a Petri net.
