Maddy Prior and June Tabor sang this tale of a sadly under-performing husband unaccompanied in 1976 on their album Silly Sisters. Another, live recording from the Maddy Prior, Family & Friends Christmas tour of 1999 was released on the CD and video Ballads and Candles. The latter album comments:

Of broadside origin, probably (19th century but possibly earlier), this sad tale is based on a version from Dorset. James Reeve in The Idiom of the People comments: “Oysters are a notorious aphrodisiac, but rhubarb is less well-known in this connection.” Tim Hart famously observed: “Oysters and rhubarb! The poor man can't have known if he was coming or going.”

Sally Killen sang No Courage with Louis Killen joining in on chorus in 1975 on their LP Bright Shining Morning. He commented in the album's sleeve notes:

I learned this from Brian Ballinger in 1956 and passed it on to Sally. The sentiments in this song are not overly strong for a woman married to an impotent man in days when only the rich could afford the Act of Parliament necessary for a divorce.

Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick recorded this songs under the title Oh Dear Oh live on February 23, 1990 at Focal Point, St. Louis, MO, USA for their album Life and Limb and in 1991 at Dave Swarbrick's 50th Birthday Concert. Martin Carthy commented in the former album's sleeve notes:

There are three songs on this album from the repertoire of the late great A.L. “Bert” Lloyd. ... The last of the three, Oh Dear Oh is possibly the one we've both known the longest as individuals, however, it's the one we never did as a duo until now.

Jon Boden learned My Husband’s Got No Courage In Him from the Silly Sisters; he sang it as the May 12, 2011 entry of his project A Folk Song a Day.

The Andover Museum Loft Singers directed by Bellowhead's Paul Sartin sang My Husband’s Got No Courage In Him at Sidmouth FolkWeek 2011:
